Choward’s Scented Violet Gum

Chowards Violet gum has a uniquely floral flavor and texture as the recipe hasnt changed much since it first appeared in 1934. The pieces are much like the much-loved Chiclets, with a crisp sugar shell and a soft interior. Unlike other chewing gum, these are small, purple squares with a shiny surface. The gum itself has a strong initial flavor which becomes pleasantly mild as you chew. It tends to be a bit grainy chalk that up to the early recipe and enjoy!
