Mixed Nougat

An ancient Middle Eastern treat, this nougat is light and sweet, made with honey, as is traditional. It comes in individually wrapped pieces, and a variety of flavors – pistachio, lemon, and raspberry. As the texture of the nougat is light, much like a marshmallow, it has perfect mouth feel. Each bite is satisfying and sweet, not cloying or overly filling. One tenth century text described nougat as being soft and sweet as a kiss. You’ll understand after the first bite.
